LOCATION
We are located Downtown on Saragossa St only 5 miles to my favorite beach called St Augustine Beach just south of Anastasia Park over the Bridge of Lions. There is lots of parking & public restrooms + amazing Restaurants. There is a great Farmer Market on Wednesdays and in the Summer even FREE Wednesday night outdoor concerts. The sand is perfect for building Sand Castles. The waves are great for Surfing. We provide Boogie Boards or you can rent Surf Boards and take lessons or rent bikes at A Street. Towels and Beach Chairs provided.
But you will find so much to do Downtown you will probably only go to the Beach the first day. Downtown is a world all its own. Simply Charming. Especially at night with the lights twinkling and the sound of music filling the streets. Great Restaurants. Great History. Great People. All walking distance from your door. What more do you want? Located just off of Cordova Street and just a couple of blocks from the St. George Street walking district, this home is surrounded by other beautiful historic homes, quaint tree-covered streets, and is a short walk to the Castillo de San Marcos, magnificent historic churches, museums, and a plethora of restaurants, shops, bars, galleries and antique shops. Park once and never get in your car again!
Saragossa Street was recently refurbished and restored in a way that will help you enjoy the rich heritage of the home and surrounding town while also having modern conveniences and everything you need for a great vacation. Enjoy classic and crisp linens, soft towels, and all you need to cook “at home.” Gather on the back porch for an evening cookout, and in the family room for a movie on the large screen TV. Wake up to a cup of coffee in the front room looking out over the beautiful street.

Explore the oldest fort in the continental United States, the Castillo San Marcos, and stroll down colorful St. George Street filled with shops and restaurants of irresistible local flair. You might even spot a Pirate or Spanish Conquistador in period attire! Breathe in the warm, salty air as you enjoy a romantic walk along the waterfront as the sun sets, casting its final rays on the sparkling water, the drifting boats, and the picturesque Bridge of Lions. Take a horse drawn carriage ride with the family or make it a romantic date. But don’t forget to make good use of the night by experiencing the Ghost train or Haunted House tour. Casa Saragossa feels like home. This is a wonderful space for families with room to spread out. Exactly as expected, with everything you need, and super clean. So many amenities! Casa Saragossa’s location is just perfect. In a quiet neighborhood, you are within walking distance of everything. And with 4 dedicated parking spaces off street (super rare to have 1 space in this historic area), park once and walk you will. Host Tim is so easy to work with and responds to emails very quickly. Thank you for a memory making stay, we will return to Casa Saragossa.

We enjoyed a girl’s weekend away from our kids in St. Augustine. Check in was very easy and the house was perfect! It was clean and cozy and it was super close to the historic district. We loved that we could walk everywhere! I highly recommend it and will stay again the next time we are visiting the area. Keep up the great work!

We loved how central this home was and how easy it was to walk to downtown! We used the bikes in the garage (with a little chain lube that they had) and had a great time exploring. They did a great job on their photos. The house did fit our needs but it did not blow us away. There is a lot to do within a 10 minute walk to downtown.

My family and I loved staying at Tim’s place! He was incredibly nice and helpful the whole time. The house was larger than the pictures made it seem and fit the 7 of us very comfortably. Tim’s place is in an amazing location and we were able to walk everywhere the entire stay. It’s just a few blocks from the fort, restaurants and shops. The street is so quiet and felt extremely safe. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Tim was a great host, very responsive and accommodating! The home was exactly as described, and just what we needed. Very cozy and live-able! Though we didn't make use of the bikes or the quad cycle, we all thought those were great amenities! We were able to walk everywhere we needed to in downtown, so the free parking in the driveway was a great plus. The neighborhood is very quiet. We thoroughly our stay and look forward to the next time!

Clean, cozy and literally 1/2 mile walk to everything! The house is spacious enough for 8 adults! Beds are super comfortable, bathroom are clean with plenty of towels for everyone. This home is your go-to spot! Host is easy to work with, answered all questions in a timely manor. You will not be disappointed.

This house was perfect for our stay - 2 families (4 adults, 4 kids) had plenty of space. The location was great - super walkable to everything in downtown St Augustine which is very valuable given how much of a hassle parking can be. The house was well equipped including with bikes, beach chairs and beach towels. Access to laundry was a plus. The house also had a quadricycle which our kids enjoyed riding around the block. It’s an older home but it’s been fixed up very nicely with all the amenities. There is also a nice backyard patio space. It’s shared with another apartment but that worked fine. All in all, we would recommend this property!

Tim Steflik and his wife Mary Kay have lived in Florida for the last 15 years and have a love for St. Augustine. We have 5 kids and enjoy the many family friendly activities the area has to offer such as the Alligator Farm, Fort Matanzas, and Great Seafood restaurants.
